Automatic, servo-controlled beam alignment
The Node is a compact unit that communicates with the ceiling mounted Satellite
through a narrow IR beam. Upon power up, press the search button on the
side of the unit and the Node will perform a search for an available Satellite
and establish the wireless communications link. A Satellite/Node configuration
is suitable for large open offices or classroom environments. Multiple users
can share each Node and multiple Nodes can communicate to a single Satellite
unit. Nodes provide servo-controlled infrared beam adjustment and signal
locking features.
